As always with Keen, these shoes are right-out- of-the-box comfortable and easy to wear; however, that is always with my orthotics inserted. The color of brown is just what I expected, but the quality of the suede is a little inferior for a Keen product. Also, the little extra detailing (around the edge of the ankle part of the shoe) that truly makes a pair of shoes stand apart (found in the Ventura II by Keen) was not there. Maybe I was just looking to get the Ventura II in brown suede, who knows, since it remains my absolute favorite shoe of all time.
